The YDS3 was the biggest seller of the YDS series. Improvements included the recently developed oil injections system, engine modifications and major frame changes. The bike was a big seller in Europe and USA. The model in the picture is an early "round badge" model YDS3. The spring based seat, transmission and hubs were carried over from the YDS2 in these early production models. I refer to this model as a transitional model. It was common practice to borrow items from previous models in the initial stages of the next model.
